Hi, I’m Shreya!

From script refinement to career advancement, I’m here to help you reach your full potential in the entertainment world.

Welcome to my script consultancy and professional development service! I'm Shreya Sachdev, a passionate script consultant with a BA in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television in Los Angeles, California, ranked as the 5th best film school in the U.S. according to The Hollywood Reporter. Based in both LA and NYC, I offer a unique blend of expertise and industry insight from two major entertainment hubs.

During my time at film school, I had the privilege of learning from industry leaders, including Emmy-nominated professors, Academy Award-recognized professionals, showrunners, and writers with experience in the writer's room, who have shaped the way I approach storytelling and script development. I honed my skills in key areas such as sequence structure, character development, plot construction, and setting creation. My education involved not only studying these crucial elements but also actively reading and providing feedback on my classmates' scripts, sharpening my analytical abilities. I am also gaining valuable industry experience as a Creative Development Intern at Aperture Entertainment, where I work directly on script coverage, further enhancing my ability to assess scripts and provide actionable feedback.

With Upcoming Artists Management, I bring this expertise to young entertainment industry professionals looking to break into the field. Specializing in script coverage, script consultancy, script formatting, pitching, pitch deck creation, and treatment writing, I offer personalized services to guide your project from concept to completion. My fresh perspective and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends make me a valuable asset to your scriptwriting journey, providing insights that can elevate your story to the next level.

Beyond script consultancy, I offer professional development services tailored specifically for aspiring entertainment professionals. During my time at LMU, I also took several Business of Entertainment classes, including Entertainment Business Affairs, Entertainment Marketing, and Entertainment Industry Careers. Moreover, as the Head of Networking of my Professional Cinematic Arts Society, Delta Kappa Alpha, I kept members updated on upcoming entertainment industry internships. I tailored internship lists for each member based on their individual interests and professional goals, conducted weekly office hours to review resumes, cover letters, and application materials, and gave presentations on effective internship search strategies, resume and cover letter writing, and how to connect with recruiters after submitting applications. I also guided members on writing cold emails and setting up informational interviews with industry professionals. Additionally, I served as an Entertainment Career Peer Advisor at my university's Career and Professional Development Office, where I supported students in advancing their professional journeys.

Furthermore, as a young, aspiring entertainment professional myself, I understand that others in this field often might not have a lot of money or resources to invest. That’s why my services are affordable and accessible. I genuinely care about advancing your career in the entertainment industry and am committed to helping you achieve your goals. At Upcoming Artists Management, I’m dedicated to helping fellow writers and professionals refine their work, ensuring they stand out in a competitive market. I work closely with each client as a friend and collaborator, ensuring their unique voice and vision are represented, while offering strategic insights and creative solutions to maximize the potential of every script and professional opportunity.
